What are Content Silos?

Content Silos are a strategic way to organize your website's content around specific topics or themes. Think of them as dedicated topic areas where you want your website to be recognized as an authority. Each silo consists of:

  • A Target Keyword - The main topic or theme you want to rank for

  • A Target Page - Your most important page for that topic (often called a "pillar page")

Only use this feature if you know what you're doing. SEOJuice already clusters your pages into topical authority hubs. Only use this if you have SEO experience and have specific pages in mind that need to be linked

When you set up content silos, SEOJuice will:

  • Automatically identify related content across your site

  • Create strategic internal links pointing to your chosen target pages

  • Build topical authority around your key themes

  • Help search engines better understand your site's structure

  • Improve your chances of ranking for your target keywords

For example, if you run a cooking website:

  • Target Keyword: "Italian Pasta Recipes"

  • Target Page: Your comprehensive guide to pasta making

  • SEOJuice will then find relevant mentions across your site (like "spaghetti", "fettuccine", etc.) and link them back to your main pasta guide.
